About Weavers

Most weavers didn't sell their cloth or yarn, and, for that matter, weren't called weavers. Yes, some were called weavers, but for the most part, they just made cloth and clothes for their families. The only weavers that are properly called "weavers" were wealthy people in england, and a few housewives looking for an extra shilling or two. They made beautiful cloth, and cloth that might be used to wash an 'outhouse', as some people call it.
